ARGOS Position file with the distance to the mooring, buoy course and speed calculated Duplicate times have been removed, time less than 3 minutes apart are also removed. GPS codes of 3 or less are removed. A GPS code = 6 means the position error estimate is < 100m, code 5 means the error estimate is < 250m, and code 4 mean the error estimate is between 250m << 500m Code 6 does not distinquish between a "ARGOS GPS" position and the true GPS positions since they have the same error estimate. Also data more than 500 miles from the mooring or near the tent in Honolulu where removed. Note also that I have ignored diferent ARGOS ID numbers. So in the case there the speed or dist does not make sense look to see if the calculation was made with different ARGOS ID numbers.
