The purpose of this page is to show the GoPro data collected for each Resonon data set for the red or blue spec. There where 4 camera collecting data. Cam1 was looking at a sundial above water to get the sun position. Cam2 was looking at the 32/56 cm disk, the 7 cm disk and sometimes the bare fibers (or left side of the fork). Cam3 was looking at the 26 and 24 cm disks and could occationally see the bare fibered arm. Cam4 was on the ship looking at the sky.
When the Resonon was collecting data it would take the BSG data (short int times) and once the BSG was done it would take the RSG data (long integration times). So the individual date sets were collected in this order [BSG_dark RSG_dark] repeat the [BSG_lite RSG_lite] repeated 4 more times and [BSG_dark RSG_dark] repeat one more time. The BSG and RSG are then written to separate files. Each file has 2 dark image 5 lite images followed by 2 dark images. Normal processing would average the 5 lite images (by track) but for this webpage we want to keep each of the lite data separate so we get 5 lite data sets per files per track rather than 1. The idea will be to show the image only when a lite image was being taken.
The data below is dark subtracted (mean of 4 darks) and divided by integration time and then converted to radiance using the 20120913B_OL455 system response file. Only track 1 (Es) and tracks 3,5,7,9,11 and 13 are shown below.
Note that the GoPro Photos times have be converted to GMT time, but the original GoPro times were only good to 3 secs or so.
