Using the FISH system response to guestimate what it will look like in MOBY

EMAILS: We want to know what the BSG signal would look like in the MOBY configuration which is markedly different than the FISH setup due to the lack of a beam splitter and associated filters and optics. If I understand the process, The relative response can be used to model the BSG "MOBY like" Es,Ed and Lu.

THe math Take the Track 7 system response and multiply it by Es, Lu1m, Lu5m, and Lu7m (engineering units) from a typical MOBY measurement…then your done. We can fold in the long fibers afterward, knowing their transmission. (was this system response done with short fibers?).

The graphs below show the FISH system response and the bottom graphs show what FISH would look like in MOBY
