This is a placeholder that we need to re-write the YES SQM manual (on line in the Documentation Section). For now, Tom and I are trying to make notes in the hardcopy. We have learned a lot by going through the exercise of replacing a blown lamp.

There should be a tool kit that goes with the SQM and a spare parts kit. Our list so far is:

  1.    Snap ring pliers
  2.    Tweezers
  3.    Ball-Point, T-handle Hex Key, 5/32” and 9/64”drivers
  4.    3/16” and 5/64” drivers
  5.    Spare #8 and #10 split ring lock washers, SST
  6.    Teflon anti seize compound
  7.    Gloves, lint free cloth, alcohol for cleaning lamp bulbs
  8.    USB to serial cable since modern laptops do not have serial ports
  9.    Spare 1/2” internal retaining rings, SST
  10.   Spare 8-32 x 5/16” T316 SST hex cap screws (Outer Housing Back)
  11.   Spare 8-32 x 1/2” T316 SST hex cap screws (Outer Housing at Lamp Ring; Front Window Flange; Lamp Ring Cover Plate; Heat Sinks)
  12.   Spare 10-32 x 1/2” T316 SST hex cap screws (Handles)
  13.   Spare 2-56 x 11/16” T316 SST hex cap screws (1A lamp brackets)
  14.   Slow Blow 1A 250V 3AG fuse (Heater)
  15.   Slow Blow 6A 250V 3AG fuse (PS and Electronics) NOTE I found 6.25A and ordered them and 5A
  16.   TBD fuse for internal power supply; manual says this is protected by the external fuse
  17.   Spare muffin fan replacement foam (4.69” fan)
  18.   Spare 10-32 x 9/16” SST hex cap screws (Bottom Mounting Bracket)
