This is a placeholder that we need to re-write the YES SQM manual (on line in the Documentation Section). For now, Tom and I are trying to make notes in the hardcopy. We have learned a lot by going through the exercise of replacing a blown lamp.
There should be a tool kit that goes with the SQM and a spare parts kit. Our list so far is:
- Snap ring pliers
- Tweezers
- Ball-Point, T-handle Hex Key, 5/32” and 9/64”drivers
- 3/16” and 5/64” drivers
- Spare #8 and #10 split ring lock washers, SST
- Teflon anti seize compound
- Gloves, lint free cloth, alcohol for cleaning lamp bulbs
- USB to serial cable since modern laptops do not have serial ports
- Spare 1/2” internal retaining rings, SST
- Spare 8-32 x 5/16” T316 SST hex cap screws (Outer Housing Back)
- Spare 8-32 x 1/2” T316 SST hex cap screws (Outer Housing at Lamp Ring; Front Window Flange; Lamp Ring Cover Plate; Heat Sinks)
- Spare 10-32 x 1/2” T316 SST hex cap screws (Handles)
- Spare 2-56 x 11/16” T316 SST hex cap screws (1A lamp brackets)
- Slow Blow 1A 250V 3AG fuse (Heater)
- Slow Blow 6A 250V 3AG fuse (PS and Electronics) NOTE I found 6.25A and ordered them and 5A
- TBD fuse for internal power supply; manual says this is protected by the external fuse
- Spare muffin fan replacement foam (4.69” fan)
- Spare 10-32 x 9/16” SST hex cap screws (Bottom Mounting Bracket)
