Email from Casey on 7 Jan 2016 3:54 pm: Hello everyone, With Mike having narrowed the search for the cause of the variable fiber-to-fiber widths down to the slit/fiber region, I pulled a fiber bundle from the Moby Blue having tried the fiber bundles we ordered for the Red previously. The results are very different, and look much better. We are investigating the differences between the two fiber sets, but havent found anything obvious yet. Thanks, Casey

The figures below compare the two images, both with the sphere I think and the RS1 spec. But one is using the red fiber bundle, which has irregularly spaced tracks) and the other is using the blue fiber bundle, which seems to fix the track spacing.
