S/N 2 In Line PDBS w/o PDBS

CONFIG 14: 16-Apr-2018 to 16-Apr-2018 Fiber Bend Tests

In Line PSBS custom made by Mark, aligned on laser bench Pier 35, S/N 2. Test for sensitivity to fiber bending. We took out the PDBS and the fold mirror. PD2 is connected to the through channel and PD1 has a 9V battery. Fiber 31 is input and Fiber 21 is output. FISH Fibers, SIRCUS Sphere, Yuqin Zong's white LED source, monitor with Si PD and SEI.

* E1 = Normal configuration.

* E2 = Repeat normal configuration.

* E3 = Lift output fiber to read "19" on the reference ruler (see photos).

* E4 = Remove ruler, normal configuration.

* E5 = Lift output fiber to read "19".

* E6 = Remove ruler, normal configuration.

* E7 = Move PD2 a little away from the chamber.

* E8 = Put PD2 back where it was, approximately.

* E9 = Wiggle PD2, losen, tighten FC thorlabs part, flex fiber cable

* E10 = Move to intput fiber; bend it slightly backwards.

* E11 = Input fiber as it was.
