SPR with features removed

MikeF suggested creating SPR with featrures removed and then SLCing the data. This would show how that feature affects the SLC. The below page will show the resulting SPR's with a brief description of how I removed the features.

Options for features to removed
1 = main reflection peak
2 = Large bump
Options for Background SPR
3 = create SPR with background

I needed to get a baseline laser data set with no features, which will be used the replace the features removed. So I took all the laser data and set the indexs of all 4 features to NaN. Those are plotted with the thin colored lines. I then calculated the mean and median. I chose to use the median.

The std/mean for all the Laser lines in Figure 1.

Figure 3

The reflection peak removed. To fill in the missing indexs were the refelction peak was removed the background laser data was shifted so it is centered around the main laser peak. The indexs need were found. Because in many you could not insert the new data in because of discontinuities a linear regression was used to adjust the new data to match the laser data it was being inserted into.

And the large bump removed. The indexs from the background were replaced, the end. Linear regression was used to adjust the new data to match the laser data it was being inserted into

SPR created using the backround The background laser data was coppied across the array.
