Description: 30 September to 13 October 2004 Chesapeake Bay Bio-optical Cruises: The R/V Lady Bug was used for daily cruises that departed and returned to Ferry Point harbor. Setup aboard the boat started on 21 September and ended on 29 September. Precruise irradiance and wavelength radiometric calibrations were performed on 27 September and radiance calibrations on 29 September. Steve Brown operated the new NIST Ship-Board Calibrator (SBC) during tests with MOS and FOS aboard the Lady Bug on 29 September. The SBC was left for the duration of the cruise for further inspection and testing. Thirty two oceanographic stations were occupied between 30 September and 13 October during SeaWiFS, Aqua, Terra and EO1 satellite overpasses. |
