Description: MOBY-L249: 5 May-2016 MOBY Maintenance Cruise: On 05 May, underwater photos were taken of MOBY260 and before cleaning diver calibrations were done. The flopper-stopper bridle appeared to be okay. On 06 May, MOBY260 was cleaned, after cleaning diver calibrations were done and the anti-fouling tubes were recharged. | ||
Details: There are also the GoPro photos of the Lu collectors, I am still having issues with that camera. Everything checks out fine on deck but for whatever reason the light fails underwater without flooding. These are the JPG files labeled clean or dirty. There are seven MP4 videos of the tether and how it rides relative to the sea surface. These are large files and they are named sequentially with MOBY-L249_tether##.MP4. Mark was interested in those. The photos Steve takes monthly are in the same directory and those are labeled with the default names that his camera assigns. He should learn how to set the clock. The log files have a couple of arm angle directions recorded, 21:17 at 300º, 21:35 at 310º and 21:41 at 300º. I figured out the compass on the iPhone is where the issue I was having and the hand help analog compass was reading fine. We went out on the 6th for the cleaning and clean cals but the current was too strong to do any work. Steve did do a cleaning, take clean GoPro Lu photos and replaced the AFTs. When I was collecting the dirty calibrations on the 5th I mistakenly added a BLu scan at the end of the first set but before the computer was shut down for the change of batteries. |
