NIST-2016-01 - SQM PD monitors saturated - 17 Feb 2016
EMAIL from Carol: This is about a new SQM problem. With the new quartz diffuser and the white fiducial, two of the three SQM monitor photodiodes saturated with the HI level. Not good. I can replace the white fiducial, but I was curious to see if a darker DUT would also be a problem. I tested with a “black cloth” DUT – this was ok. As a further test, I made a mock up of what the foreoptics will look like for the CAS radiometer. This is mostly black stuff with some optical elements. Today I ran this on the HI setting and things looked OK.
