The RS06 arrived in HI today.  First-pass VIP looks good / nice packing job! One thing to note: this bundle has two fibers ~1 inch shorter than the others.

There are RS06 photos at /ftp1/Mike/photos/RS06/, and, the fiber bundle # = 280903 - I assume this is a Leone bundle, but there are not "Leoni" markings on the fibers for this one.

22 Oct 2016 Mark Yarbrough I accepted the shorter fiber lengths because Leoni claims that is their best effort if we want deliveries this year.  I doubt the length difference will matter.

In the predelivery doc the shake test noted a 2 pixel move. When Stephanie compared the pre/post shake data she found a wavelength peak shift of less than 0.5 pixels and a track shift of 1 pixel for track 1 and up to 3.8 pixel for track 14 (Page 1.015)

The asymmetrical shift might be due to the rotation/translation of the fiber bundle. This connection is a little prone to shifting, as the unit was not originally designed to allow this degree of freedom but we had to slot the bundle holes to make up for too loose tolerances on the bundle specification.
